About the Jibhi Tirthan Valley Trip

Jibhi is what people picture when they say they want a quiet Himachal — wooden houses with slate roofs, a trout stream running through the village, and no traffic to speak of. Tirthan Valley next door is the buffer zone of the Great Himalayan National Park.

The trek is Raghupur Fort: up from Jalori Pass through oak and deodar to a ruined hill fort on a grassy ridge, with the Himalayan ranges open across the horizon. Two nights in Jibhi, Delhi to Delhi, and the quietest departure we run.

02Jibhi Arrival | Local Sightseeing | Jibhi Stay

  • Evening free for leisure.

03Jalori Pass & Raghupur Fort Trek | Jibhi Stay
  • After breakfast, drive up to Jalori Pass at 3,120 m, one of the most scenic road passes in Himachal.
  • From the pass, begin the Raghupur Fort trek — about 3 km through oak, pine and deodar.
  • Reach the fort, a ruin on a broad grassy ridge, and take in the panoramic view across the surrounding Himalayan ranges.
  • Time at the top to explore the meadow before heading down.
  • Trek back to Jalori Pass and return to Jibhi. Evening at leisure.
  • Dinner and overnight stay in Jibhi.
04Tirthan Valley & Gushaini | Depart for Delhi
  • Breakfast at the hotel and check out.
  • Explore Tirthan Valley proper — the riverside stretches and the villages along it.
  • Visit Gushaini, at the confluence where the Tirthan meets the Falachan, and the gateway to the Great Himalayan National Park.
  • Later, start the return journey towards Delhi. Overnight journey.
05Delhi Arrival | Trip Ends
  • Morning arrival in Delhi.
  • The tour concludes with beautiful memories of Jibhi and Tirthan Valley.
